Clubhouse Pools
The Club offers families a mix of options with three swimming pools, all of which take advantage of the sweeping bay views. The main swimming pool is heated year-round and accommodates guets of all ages, while the shallow children’s wading pool is ideal for younger children. Additionally, a separate hot whirlpool caters to relaxation.

Dining
The Balboa Bay Club Grill provides an elegant backdrop for dinner and Sunday Brunch, while a relaxed summer lunchtime menu is featured at Henry’s Bistro, located in The Clubhouse. Adjacent to The Club, The Resort’s own First Cabin Restaurant offers members and resort guests casually elegant cuisine and a wonderful view of the bay.

Cocktails & Entertainment
The cozy Clubhouse Lounge is perfect for relaxing visits with friends, watching an event on the big-screen TV, or even engaging in a friendly game of cards. The Beach Bar provides members a summertime setting for a casual cocktail, conversation, and a fabulous view of a Balboa Bay sunset. The Resort’s entertainment lounge, Duke’s Place, offers outstanding live entertainment, food, and dancing seven nights a week for members and guests of The Resort.

Spa & Fitness
At The Balboa Bay Club, many members strive for total body wellness. Amenities here include full-sized basketball and racquetball courts, a well-equipped exercise facility, and a variety of fitness classes in our movement studio. When it’s time to wind down, members can enjoy The Spa where a full menu of services and treatments are available, in addition to a  steam room, whirlpool, and sauna.

Hotel & Conference Facilities
The Balboa Bay Club & Resort is the only full-service waterfront hotel in Newport Beach with various size meeting spaces, including the Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate intimate gatherings, as well as larger events of up to 500 people for a sit-down dinner with a dance floor.

While the resort offers 132 luxurious rooms and suites, The Clubhouse features a number of equally delightful accommodations—all with bay views—for members and their guests to enjoy.

Terrace Apartments

The Balboa Bay Club & Resort offers a selection of long-term apartments, as well as short-term rentals, complete with furnishings and amenities to be move-in ready. Whether you’re looking for a hassle-free lifestyle on the waterfront or a temporary home due to renovations or work relocation, our Newport Beach apartments offer the privacy of a residence with the amenities of a luxury resort.

Marina
Members are welcome to arrive by sea at our guest dock. The marina has 131 boat slips ranging in size from 20 to 100 feet. Limited small boat dry storage is available, as are kayak and canoe racks. Members also enjoy special rental rates for electric boats, kayaks, etc.
