As a member of this classic Newport Beach club you will gain access to The Balboa Bay Club’s many services and amenities available to you at a moment’s notice while receiving warm and friendly attention from the highly trained staff. Additionally, The Balboa Bay Club membership grants reciprocal privileges at many fine private clubs in exciting locales throughout the world.

Membership Eligibility
Family membership is available to married individuals 21 and over. Unmarried dependent children under the age of 25 have full membership privileges. There is a one-time initiation fee as well as monthly dues. Membership may be transferred within the immediate family upon approval and payment of a transfer fee.

Single Memberships
Single memberships are available to unmarried individuals 21 and over. There is a one-time initiation fee as well as monthly dues. Single memberships are transferable within the immediate family with an option to upgrade to Family Membership.

Company Memberships
A one-time initiation fee initiates two executives. This membership is owned by the company and is enjoyed by the member executives and their immediate families. Each executive pays monthly dues. An executive’s membership may be transferred to another executive upon approval and payment of a transfer fee. Additional company memberships may also be added at a discounted rate with individual monthly dues.

Additional Membership Advantages
All members enjoy complimentary valet parking, discounts on personal- and business-catered functions and drinks during Happy Hour in designated locations. There are special member rates for boat rentals and member pricing on holiday brunches and shared events at The Resort. Members also receive discounted rates on hotel rooms and at the First Cabin Restaurant and Duke’s Place. Discounts are subject to change. Please ask the membership staff for the latest details.

Club Events and Activities
There is always a full calendar of member events, from Winemaker Dinners and Guest Maitre d’ Nights to summer concerts and beach parties. Check with The Club for an updated list of events and activities.

Children’s Activities and Classes
Children love life at The Club. A wide range of programs are available, including swimming lessons and a swim team, basketball and volleyball clinics, and Spartan Day Camp. Children’s menus are available at all of our restaurants. Check with our Recreation Department for a list of current listings.

Membership Extras and Privileges
With The Balboa Bay Club membership you are welcome to enjoy dining and shopping privileges at the nearby Newport Beach Country Club.
